Old Mountain Pre Seasoned 10100 3 Piece Skillet Set, 6.5 Inch, 8 Inch, 10.5 Inch love them

Cast Iron Skillet set, (What's this?) I was pleased with what I received. They are easily seasoned and we enjoying being back to cast iron cooking.
jazzyj39, (What's this?) I am very pleased with these pans.
love them, (What's this?)
Stumblefoot, (What's this?) Bought this set for my daughter, she just loves them. She is getting the hang of turning the burner off early and letting the food cook, saving energy.
BEWARE! This stuff was made in China!, (What's this?) I do NOT recommend these pans. They were very pretty to look at (nice art work on the bottom) but not good for cooking. I bought them because I thought "Cast Iron" pans were all the same and the art work and price was a definite lure. Boy was I sorry! During their 1st use chips of iron kept flaking off into the food I was cooking. I'm sending them back immediately. Their appearance and price were good but the quality was not good. Their American competition, Lodge Logic, (and maybe who they are imitating) is MUCH higher in quality for not much more in price.
Just what I was looking for, (What's this?) These are just what I was looking for. Cooking with cast iron is always a pleasure. For what it's worth, I always season cast iron regardless of what the label says. Definitely a high quality product.
good price, seasoned 3 times which made the pans nonstick. can't beat the price. worth the extra effort.
Good value but made in China, (What's this?) I prefer to purchase American made when possible. Had I known it was made in China I would not have bought it and shipping is to costly to return. Otherwise it is a good value and the sizes are perfect for me.

Earth Pan Stainless Steel 9 Inch and 11 Inch Skillet Twin Pack How can you lie like this? Escpecially on HSN

VERY BAD EXPENSIVE PRODUCT, Consumer Reports flunked their rating this as an excellent product. It is the worst, and it is expensive. I agree with the reviews by others. The "nonstick" surface is very temporary and wears off almost immediately. Then everything sticks with a vengeance.

I still have to learn this lesson: Do not buy expensive nonstick cookware! It doesn't last, no matter what the reviews say. My advice is to buy inexpensive pots and pans and throw them away when they fail. Try to get the thickest cheap pans available in your local supermarket.
Total Junk!, These pans were great when I first bought them. However, now that I've had them for less than a year, everything sticks to them. The only thing reliable about them is that every time I clean them, more of the finish disappears. Do not buy these pans. I sadly got an entire set last year for Christmas and now I will need to reinvest this year. A waste of a couple of hundred dollars.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!, (What's this?) We were initially impressed with how slippery the surface was - we could hardly flip eggs they were so slippery! However, we have had them 4 months and within a couple of months residue was sticking to the pans and we took special care never to be abrasive with them -- had to be very careful to let residue actually stay on them as we couldn't get it off at all!! Now the actual finish is coming off and there are areas all over both pans where the finish is completely missing. They are impossible to clean and look awful...plus the finish is disappearing!! They are a waste of money and will not last more than 6 months if you use them much at all! Stir frying veggies, frying eggs, bacon etc. are just not possible without permanent staining, residue buildup, and the finish coming off in a few months!! I am really upset cause it was around Christmastime and I ordered one for my mother also!! I can promise they were not abused and we just had to buy new skillets as everything now sticks to them and they will NOT clean. I fried fish in one the other night and the whole battered outside stuck to the pan and wouldn't even clean off. If you have to use real abrasive cleaners you might as well write it off...the finish is coming off and we haven't even used anything abrasive on them! The inside of the handle also has two screws which collect food and don't clean easily, either.
I wouldn't waste even a dollar for this junk!, Save your money folks! This is piece of junk. I bought this only after consumer reports' smart shop recommended this product as the best overall. What a joke! They certainly need to do that research again. Like everyone else I was thrilled to use this the first three times or so but after that the food seemed to get stuck more and more to a point even a heavy coat of oil didn't help from food sticking. I couldn't fry eggs even with 1/4" oil without sticking. I mean come on that's not what I call non stick by any means. I bought 10 and 12 inch pans and I am regretting it heavily.
Trust Consumer Reports!, (What's this?) These pans are terrific. We've tried other non-stick pans in the past and found that the coating didn't last, got scratched, and basically didn't work after a short period of time. We tried these based on the Consumer Reports review, and have loved them: great to cook with, easy to clean, and still look like new months later. We followed the manufacturer's directions and don't put them in the dishwasher or use very high heat, and they work like a charm. I would highly recommend these pans; great value.
Great for 2 weeks/no high heat useage, These are great for a few uses & then the non stick just isn't there. High heat cooking seems to speed up the loss of the non-stick surface. They stain easily & are just a major disappointment. The instructions tell you not to use oil or butter... who cooks without oil or butter? I was thrilled for the first few uses... than sadly let down. Don't waste your money, like me. I thought after my first purchase of one pan they were great & ordered 4 more, only to realize they were not worth the money after several uses.
BUY THESE INSTEAD: Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch & 12-Inch Open Skillets Twin Pack.
How can something that started out so good end so bad?, Basically, I agree with everyone who left a review.
JUNK!, Well originally I loved this pan but with time(not to long) I noticed everyone was right about this pan! It stinks! As time went on the eggs stuck more and more, etc. So glad I didn't buy the set! My advice is to anyone who still wants to try it-make sure you use a small pan for a WHILE(MANY MONTHS)cook a variety of things in it and make sure to only use medium to low setting always..
There are some new green pans at bed bath I think they sell them here also, supposed to be good.
How can you lie like this? Escpecially on HSN, I saw this guy on HSN blowing the egg right out of the pan. I was hooked! Are you kidding me? These pans are not worth a nickle. I hate them. Hard to clean, stick really bad. Even if you turn the heat down. Do not buy this product, it is lies lies lies.
Incredibly disappointing, I had such high hopes for this set. As others have stated they're great for a few months then the finish begins to wear off, especially on the skillet and pot surfaces. I also took very good care of this pieces - no abrasives, etc. This could be an incredible product if they could come up with a way to keep the finish intact. I am so incredibly disappointed. Also, when attempting to get a replacement I got serious run around and never did get the replacement I requested.

T-Fal Signature Hard Anodized 10.25 Inch Fry Pan Good quality, but the size will fool you

Good quality, but the size will fool you, (What's this?) I'm a connoisseur of cookware by no means, but expected
an 8" skillet to be bigger than this.
I got out my machinist measuring scale and come up with
the following measurements; largest diameter at top of rim= 7.55",
flat area at inside of bottom= approximately 5.5".
This is about big enough for a couple eggs or maybe a sandwich.
By no means what I expected.
On the bright side, we will use it in it's capacity,
and it is VERY high quality, in my opinion.
We purchased based on a prior purchase of another pan of the same brand and line.
T-fal pan, (What's this?) The T-fal 8-in fry pan was just what I wanted.
Like it alot!, (What's this?) I've had this pan for a couple of weeks now.
false advertising, (What's this?) The pan is advertised as being anodized. You would assume that would mean inside the pan. It only means outside. It is not anodized non-stick on the cooking surface. Very disappointed.
Love it, (What's this?) We Purchased this & several other T-Fal Signature Hard Anodized Nonstick pan based on previous reviews & we love them. Functional as well as making a nice hanging pan display.
t-fal signature 8 inch anodized fry pan, (What's this?) Great fry pan, completely non-stick. Balances well on the gas burner, which my older one didn't. Handle was too heavy so pan wouldn't sit even when empty.
GOOD PAN!, (What's this?) I have had both expensive and cheap non-stick pans, and have been disappointed by both. They do not seem to last long before they start to chip and peel. The hard anondized pans seem to last the longest before chipping and peeling, and at least they are reasonably priced. So far I am pleased with this pan. It distributes the heat and cooks evenly. Just keep in mind that this type of pan browns at a lower heat. A higher heat will cause a glaze on the pan which is difficult to remove without damaging the surface.
Great Product, (What's this?) I love this pan. My only issue is that the pan is not deep enough to cook a meal for a big family. My fault though because I didn't realize a saute pan had short sides. I have always had good success with T-Fal pans especially considering the price when compared to others such as scanpan. So far it is completley non-stick and easy to clean. I will continue to buy T-Fal pans until a better product comparably priced is introduced.
Amazing, (What's this?) this is a very good pan, the non-stick surface definitely works not like some other companies who advertise that their surface is nonstick only to find out after using them for a month that it gets deformed...

Cuisinart 635-24 Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 3-Quart Chef's Pan with Cover Cuisinart 3 Quart Pan

Perfect Pan, (What's this?) I use this pan almost daily. It is my favorite pan. Big enough for dinner and super easy clean up. I wish I had this years ago.
Be very careful, Too expensive. But, be very careful when placing on stove, especially gas which has an open grill. The handle is as heavy as the pot and mine has tipped over a couple of times. Make sure you have enough ingredients in pan to prevent this.
    Not worth the money.
3 quart Chef's pan, (What's this?) Of all the pots and pans in our kitchen, this is the most versatile of all of them. It has turned in to the favorite pan that we use the most often. No sticking, easy clean up, very convenient. It does everything from boiling potatoes to deep frying chicken. I would purchase this pan again, and probably will, more than one in our kitchen is a blessing. It would also make a great gift.
Chef's Pan, (What's this?) It is a really nice pan. Much larger than i expected. It cooks and cleans up very easily.
My only complaint is that the outside of the pan scratches very easily. i got two huge
scratches on the side when i put the pan in my cabinet with other pans. Now i just put it on
top of the stove. i do recommend this pan.
Non-stick and light weight - perfect for oatmeal, (What's this?) A good test for whether cookware is non-stick or not is cooking some oatmeal in the pan. This pan has quick easy clean-up after cooking oatmeal. It is the perfect size for my larger burners and distributes heat well. The cover seems a little heavier than other cookware see-through lids, perhaps more durable. I am very pleased with this pan. I much prefer it to Calphalon JR8782-2P Contemporary Nonstick 2-1/2-Quart Shallow Saucepan with Lid which is a more expensive pan. I would purchase this pan again or other sizes in this line.
Surprise!, (What's this?) I was pleasantly surprised to find out the high quality of this pan for the money. It is fantastic! I have alrealy purchased another.
Luv it!, (What's this?) I use this pan everyday! Works for just about anything and cleans perfectly. Love the non-stick.
GREAT PRODUCT, LOVE IT!, (What's this?) I would sooooo...recommend this product. I thought it's a bit small at first. But it's alright after you get use to it.
Cuisinart 3 Quart Pan, (What's this?) This is a very good pan for medium size meals. The Nonstick surface is very easy to clean. The pan is very well made and a good value.
A very useful pan in my arsenal, (What's this?) I have used this pan at least twice a week since buying it. It is a well made pan and the non-stick surface is holding up very well.

Calphalon Unison Nonstick 8-Inch and 10-Inch Omelette Pan Set I love these pans!

Calphalon Unison Frying Pans, (What's this?) These pans are absolutely great, am very glad I bought them. They keep the temperature of the pan smooth and fry great. Clean up well.
excellent cookware, This cookware is very solid, well made and cooks evenly. The non stick surface is exceptional and the craftsmanship of the product shows its value.
I love these pans!, (What's this?) I bought these 8 and 10 inch pan set to replace out older scratched Teflon pan. I read how no oil was needed to cook eggs. I was amazed at how well eggs slide around and nothing sticks to these pans. I cook omelets for my church's breakfasts once a month and can't wait to bring these pans there to test. My wife won't let them out of the house. She said get your own! We only use 8 inch pans at our church breakfasts. I wish I could find a pair of 8 inch Calphalon pans at this fantastic price.
Great quality, (What's this?) This item is definitely worth the $70 I paid for it. They are heavy and well made. I will definitely stick to this Brand in the future.
SUPERB PANS, (What's this?) This is my second set. Food slides easily from pan and clean up is a breeze...just wipe with paper towel and then a quick wash. You do not use high heat on these pans.
Does this work with induction?, Does anyone know if this set works with induction cooktop? I tried the Rachael Ray set that said it did and it did not. My next choice to try is the porcelain enamel even though they are not recommended for glass cooktop. I can't find the information on Amazon.com anywhere.

HI KATYABIRD, IT'S YOURSELF RESPONDING. NO THIS SET DOESN'T WORK WITH INDUCTION. IF YOU GO TO COOKWARE.COM YOU WILL FIND THAT INFORMATION CLEARLY DISPLAYED FOR YOU IN THE LEFT COLUMN. FOR SOME REASON AMAZON IS HIDING THAT INFORMATION.
Best fry pans you can own, (What's this?) Bought these for myself last year and have been amazed by their performance; no, REALLY...it's noticeable! They seem to grab up and concentrate the heat. Bacon frys up quicker, meats brown faster, fish cooks quicker. Gave a set to my son for his birthday a little before Christmas, and he loves them, too.
Calphalon Unison Nonstick 8" and 10" Omelette Pan Set, (What's this?) They are nonstick as in they will only require a little bit of oil but you definitely will need oil for foods like eggs.
Best Non Stick there is. Calphalon the best Cookware ever, (What's this?) Many of us have bought the Teflon specials on TV from those TV clubs. All those experiences turned out to be big disappointments.
There was one company that guaranteed their Teflon pan for life. Great promise right up until they went out of business 3 years latter because of defects they couldn't fix in their life long Teflon with the surgical steel bottom.

My wife and I were looking for cookware that would last and where we would not eat the Teflon coating in the food over time.
Great buy, (What's this?) These were nice! I do wish my other lids fit them but they don't. It looks like I'll have to buy their lids just to have a fitting cover when I cook. Overall great value until you have to purchase their lids.

Le Creuset Forged Hard-Anodized 8-Inch Nonstick Shallow Fry Pan Favorite and most used pan in the kitchen.

a great pan, (What's this?) After reading reviews of all 8-inch pans, I chose this and am VERY happy I did. It is very well made and well balanced, and I'm sure will last many years.
Great pan!!, We use it on a electric stove since about 1 1/2 years now and this is by far now my favorite pan. Nothing sticks, it heats evenly and it easily can be cleaned, no scrubbing, etc.
Blows away my All Clad LTD.., (What's this?) I can't believe this pan only cost me $40. After spending the last two years complaining about my All Clad pans loosing their non-stick quality, I couldn't take it anymore.

I found this pan on Amazon and ordered it. It came yesterday and I just used it for the first time this morning. I cooked two eggs in the pan and couldn't believe it. Not only did they NOT stick, they almost flew out of the pan when I picked it up and made a swirling motion. I flipped the eggs like a pancake!!

I own a few Le Creuset pots and have been very pleased. This is my first hard anodized pan from them. I have owned a full set of All Clad LTD for many years. As soon as I finish this review I will be ordering a 12" pan.
excellent pan, (What's this?) 2009 was the year we bought a bunch of new cookware, including two different brands of hard anodized pan. One was a store brand, and has begun to show its wear and tear.
Great Cookware!, (What's this?) I love this cookware. I am in the process of trading in my old cookware for something new and decided to try Le Creuset because the reviews had been extremely favorable. This skillet is heavy, but not overwhelming. The handle stays cools while cooking. I use silicone utensils so as not to scratch the surface, although it is my understanding that metal utensils can be used as well. Cooking is a pleasure with this pan. It's great for frying eggs or making stir fries. There is a glass lid that fits this pan, but it must be ordered separately.
Even cooking, (What's this?) This is the most wonderful pan I have ever used! I made the same omlet in my Wearever and in this one and this one made it completely light and golden where my other cheap pan always makes them dark brown. It cleans up easily with soap and water and has a great weighted feel to it. I am very happy.
Is it worth the jacque?, Well, I need a deep sided frying pan to cook those Voila and Bertoli meals and I've always used Le crueset for my Dutch ovens and sauce/fry pans. So I ordered the Le Crueset Quadrumvate of toughened non-stick 12"deep frying, 12" low skillet, 9" skillet and 12" lid. When they arrived they shrank an inch and are now 11" deep fryer, 11" low skillet 9" skillet and 11" lid. called the seller(not amazon) and was told the description and stock had changed? Ok...well the next thing I saw was Made in China, strike two. Here's an example of paying too much for outsourced manufacturing. I expected Made in france, sacre bleu! then I noticed the induction plate and went back to my QVC set of old. Here's the good, I always liked the QVC set with the induction plate and they cost the same. The heating was even and nice. Le Crueset did include in their directions that you need to gradually heat the skillets which is paramount. If you try to heat them too fast, the metals(stainless steel induction plate, aluminum vessel) will expand at different rates causing them to eventually seperate. Immersing these skillets in a sink of water is also a bad idea, but they came with a ten year warranty that basically says the warranty is void if you use the product, so I hope to have many trouble free years with my purchase. I like the old "grey" non-stick coating.
Favorite and most used pan in the kitchen., The title says it all. I love this pan and find it worth every dime. The size is ideal for simple sauteeing, it's light enough to flip your food with ease, it's durable enough for any task and it provides perfectly even cooking because of its solid base. This pan has helped me achieve my absolute best omelettes and flawless scallops, among many others. Take care of it and it will last you a lifetime, honestly.
Best pan so far, (What's this?) I have been using the 8in. pan for a month. It is really non-stick. Mostly I cook eggs with it, they are so fluffy and never burnt. Of course it is too expensive, so only four stars. I am saving up for the 11in. pan. If money wasn't an issue I would purchase one of each size and height, and a set for my mom.
no surprises, (What's this?) This fry pan performs as advertised. Even, quick heating on an induction cook top. Quick clean-up. 'nuf said.
