Great skillet!, (What's this?) I was looking for "old school" skillets that weren't so heavy like the anodized ones they are making now. I had TFal for years, but it finally shot craps.
its a small pan and it works., (What's this?) The price seemed a little high but it is a good pan. The small size allows me to cook smaller items faster.
A dream, (What's this?) This is the best frying pan I have ever had. Nothing sticks. Everything turns out perfectly. It cooks evenly. The handle is perfectly shaped and proportioned to the hand. The pan is balanced, not heavy on the side away from the handle. It is feather-light, not a heavy clunker that wears you out just lifting it. (An elderly person cares greatly about the weight of utensils, but I think all women care about that aspect as well.) It cleans up so easily, just a few wipes because nothing, absolutely nothing, sticks. I use a flexible spatula to protect the surface, of course. The size is fine for a couple of eggs with bacon, or a few fried potatoes. Don't waste your money, as I did for my entire life, on the poorly designed skillets that come with famous chefs' names or huge advertising budgets. Revere is the only one you will want if you once try it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM. AND THE PRICE WAS REALLY EXCELLENT. I love buying from Amazon. Besides the prices, I have never been left in the lurch waiting for a product.
Deep skillet, (What's this?) If you're looking for a nice deep skillet that you can use to keep food from landing on the stovetop everytime you stir, this is it. I had one with black outside for several years, needed to replace it and I found this one. The only con is that the outside will scatch if used on a gas stove, but so many other pans do that very same thing.
DIsappointed!, (What's this?) I have used Revere Ware for over 50 years. My Mom had Revere Ware and it always did a great job. I got this little frying pan because I am a widow and do not need to use a large frying pan. The non stick surface works well however the non stick coating melts around the edge. I noticed black stuff on my utensils and noticed silver showing through. I used it for things like scrambled eggs, making a hamburger, sauteing mushrooms. I would not buy again.
It does the job, (What's this?) It is a good product. The only problem is the out side finish. The dishwasher brakes it down or appears too. The finish is different after several washing- no shining finish. For the price I would buy it again.
AFFORDABLE QUALITY, (What's this?) I have had these skillets for almost 17 years now and needed to replace this size as the finish was no longer acceptable on my current one (and may I add that I did the finish in-no flaw of the skillet.) I have had very expensive skillets and none of them were any better than these. I do wish they would offer lids for them and I wish they were still made in the good old USA.
Great skillet, (What's this?) Absolutely love this pan. Bought the ten inch one also and that's great as well. Nonstick surface is perfect. Cooks evenly and does not burn my eggs even on high.
